The Fourteenth Goldfish

 

A fictional chapter book, “The Fourteenth Goldfish”, describes how a 12-year-old girl and her 14-year-old grandpa think they are saving the world. Elli is the main character. Her grandfather found a cure for aging. They wanted to be famous for their antidote. However, All they had was a fan club in Finland. So they had to get the T-Melvines, the antidote. Then they tried to get a patent for their antidote so the whole world would know who they are. Finally, nothing was standing in their way, or was there. 

I loved this book. It was really fun to read. In more specific words, I loved the characters. My favorite character was Elli’s grandpa. He was spunky and funny. He always got a laugh out of me. I did have a few questions. It said Elli’s grandpa took some T-Melvines and it turned into a fourteen-year-old boy One of my questions was if he had ever turned into an old man again. At the end of the book, it said he left and he was still a boy. So I think he is still a boy. Clearly, I loved this book and I think you would as well!
