I Survived the Battle of D-Day
I Survived the Battle of D-Day is a short nonfiction book about the wild stories of surviving d day. Paul, an 11-year-old boy, was forced into torcher as his mom worked for the French resistance almost having no time for him and his dad in a German concentration camp as well as his best friend. His teacher was shot to death right in front of his face only to see him working for the resistance. So Paul wanted to join the resistance, and he did. He helped many soldiers get up the beach by loading the nebelwerfers, a German rocket cannon, with c3, explosive clay.
I love this book. It was relay entertaining. There was a twist at every corner. It told about every detail, I just wish it had pictures. I learned that d day had many people that had to help get everything ready for d day. I really loved this book and I think you would too.
