Claude

 Claude, by Emma Smith, describes the life of an eight-foot giant of an alligator. Claude is a white alligator. Because Claude was white, nobody liked him. They tried to fight him and bite him. So Claude was taken to an alligator research center where he would be cared for. But a after 13 years alone, the Museum of San Francisco took Claude in. Finally, he had a friend and a better life, going from the bullied alone white alligator to the most famous celebrity alligator ever.

I loved this book. I got to learn all about the best alligator ever. Claude was an interesting character. By the way, he acted, was cool. Being best friends with turtles!! I think you would love his book.
