Knucklehead Blog

Knucklehead, by Jon Scieszka, tells the story of a boy and his five brothers. To begin with, my favorite story is when they all get in the car but then they all have to go to the bathroom at the same time but there's a sword fight with streams of pee. Another one is when they hide behind dirt humps and throw dirt bombs at each other,“oh it makes the perfect dirt bomb explosion” they say. He loved army things like the little toy soldiers you set up, so when his friend told him about this crazy idea where you burn a plastic dry cleaning bag to make the sound of bombs going off.
One of my favorite stories is when his brother tried to sell him his own shirt! Also, they had to do chores and they would always pass the worse job down to the littlest one. Finally, they lit a fire in the house and it burned the ceiling.
Reading this book made me think about what it was like to have a brother. It was a great book that told all about the crazy stories between the six. All the ups and downs of having five brothers. It was funny on every page. I loved this book.
