Chocolate Touch

Chocolate Touch, by Patrick Skene Catling, tells the story of a boy who loves chocolate. John is an ordinary boy. He only wanted to have chocolate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, everyone knows you can’t only eat chocolate. So John bought a piece of chocolate but he did not know it was a magical chocolate that made everything that goes in his mouth turn to chocolate. Then he kissed his mom and his mom turned to chocolate.
John is a curious boy and loved chocolate but he needed to learn a lesson so the storekeeper gave him this chocolate. So I think the theme of this book is not too greedy. I know this because being greedy can make you unhealthy too. As soon as I started the book I loved it from the start. It has a great structure, so easy to read. It is also fun to read and funny. I just listed tons of reasons it is a great book. I wonder if you like it?
