Big Bad Bugs
“Big Bad Bugs”, by Tracey E. Dils tells you the juicy facts about almost all bugs. There are two different kinds of bugs, insects, and invertebrates. An insect has six legs and invertebrates have eight or more. All bugs have one thing in common, they all have an exoskeleton. The praying mantis is an insect that sits for hours waiting till the perfect snack just walks right by. The Stink bug is an insect as well but it has a superpower; when somebody steps on it or smushes it lets out gasses that smell horrendous.
This book really stood out to me. It had great interesting facts about all of the types of bugs. The picture really captured the meaning of the wording in the text. Reading this book really got me more interested in bugs. Seeing a spider I won't just choose option a and smush it, but study it. I loved reading this book and I would too if you read this book.
Great job, Gavin. I love your IVF topic sentence. Keep reading! :)
