Crow Boy
Crow Boy by Taro Yashima describes a little kid who was bullied and called names. The kid was lonely every lunch, reses, last in line every time, and was left out in study time. All he wanted was to have a friend. However, nobody cared and only wanted to hang out with their friends. So he tried to talk to them; still, no one listened. Then he tried the talent show and sang crow songs. Finally, the kid is loved for his talent and everyone is sorry for what they did.
I thought that the Crow Boy was the perfect chance to look into my life and see if anyone in my life was left out. The main theme in this book is… you guessed leaving people out. No one even put into consideration for what might be going on at home and that is kinda the same in this story. The kid was miss judged. The pictures played a big part in the story. They told a lot of what the text didn’t. As you can see I really enjoyed reading this book and maybe you will too.
